NC Man charged as dozens of fake Nike sneakers seized

According to search warrants, state officials in North Carolina have confiscated scores of counterfeit Nikes and other bootleg merchandise that was shipped to a barbershop in Raleigh. Previous shipments of bogus items had been tracked from New York to Raleigh by investigators with the North Carolina Secretary of State’s Office. They recognized the heavily taped cartons as those potentially containing spurious products, according to applications for search warrants of a SUV and multiple boxes at the Durham, NC FedEx facility. In the latest edition of sneaker-related lunacy, we bring you the case of Dwight Smith.
