Grambling’s Alexis Holt named BOXTOROW All-American

Courtesy of Grambling State Athletic Communications Grambling State University graduate guard Alexis Holt was named to the BOXTOROW All-American Team on Wednesday.  Holt, a First Team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) performer and SWAC All-Tournament team selection, played in all 30 games for Grambling State. She averaged 36.6 minutes, while contributing 17.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game. The all-conference honors were voted on by the league’s coaches and sports information directors.   Jackson State’s Ameshya Williams-Holliday was named Player of the Year and also claimed Defensive Player of the Year accolades.
