Shadeur Sanders named Stats Perform FCS National Player of the Week

Jackson State quarterback Shadeur Sanders was named Stats Perform FCS National Player of the Week. Sanders was outstanding in JSU’s 38-16 rump -kicking of Tennessee State in the Southern Heritage Classic, completing 30 of his 40 pass attempts for 362 yards and three touchdowns. His 30 completions set a SHC record. The Tigers of Jackson State head to Monroe, Louisiana to take on Louisiana-Monroe this Saturday night in another nationally televised game on ESPN3. From Florida A&M Sports Information: Florida A&M University (FAMU) football fans will not have to wait much longer to see the new renovations at Bragg Memorial Stadium.  Phase 1 of the renovations is ahead of schedule as the team will open fall camp on August 5.   Ram Construction and Development was awarded the contract after the University received $10 million from the Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency board.
