From Grambling State Sports Information: GSU Announces Time Change for Bethune-Cookman Game  GRAMBLING, La. | Grambling State University Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, Dr. Trayvean Scott, announced on Wednesday a time change for the Tigers’ final home football game on Saturday, Nov. 13 at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium.   Grambling State and Bethune-Cookman are now scheduled to meet at 11 a.m., with the Senior Day festivities set to begin approximately at 10:30 a.m.   The change in the start time happened in light of the recent events on the Grambling State University campus that resulted in an established curfew of 9:30 p.m.   FOLLOW…

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has named Jackson State’s Malachi Wideman and Shedeur Sanders along with Florida A&M’s Isaiah Land and Jah’Marae Sheread its SWAC Football Players of the Week for their outstanding performances during games played this past week of competition. Offensive- Malachi Wideman, WR, Jackson State  Wideman had a spectacular performance during the Tigers’42-12 win over Bethune-Cookman. He finished with a career-high 169 yards on nine receptions to go along with four receiving touchdowns.
