The Tempo announced that guard Brittney Sykes has suffered a plantar fascia injury and will be re-evaluated in the coming weeks. The injury occurred with 6:46 remaining in the third quarter of the Tempo’s recent matchup with the Indiana Fever. Sykes was cutting to the basket when she collapsed to the floor, writhing in obvious pain. Initial fears were that it was an ACL, but thankfully that was not the case.
