The Portland Trail Blazers announced on Tuesday that forward Zach Collins will be out for approximately four months after undergoing a procedure to repair his left labrum. In a release the Blazers said their young big man will begin a treatment and rehabilitation process and will be re-evaluated in about four months. The Portland Trail Blazers were able to leave Dallas with a 121-119 victory but they did not make it out of town unscathed. Zach Collins dislocated his left shoulder while battling for a rebounds late in the third quarter and did not return to the ballgame. Blazers’ Zach Collins tears ligament in right ankle, expected to be ready for camp

Portland Trail Blazers center Zach Collins sustained a grade 2 ankle sprain which tore a ligament. It was first reported by NBC Sports Northwest that Collins suffered the injury during a workout a few weeks ago, something that was just confirmed by the Blazer this week.
