A New York UPS driver delivered more than packages and was potentially the difference between life and death for the teenage victim of violent sneaker robbery. Driver Christopher McCall witnessed the May 7 attack on the 17-year old victim. Surveillance video shows two persons in black chasing the victim, taking him to the ground, punching and kicking him before taking his Air Force 1s off his feet. Nike working with US customs to stamp out fake sneakers

From Aleena Mayo of Business Insider: Nike is teaming up with US Customs and Border Protection to prevent fakes from entering the country. Nike is donating proprietary technology which will be able to identify counterfeit sneakers.  CBP says it seized more than $1.3 billion worth of goods, had they been real merchandise, last year. Nike will work with US Customers and Border Protection to crack down on counterfeit goods entering the United States, the agency said Thursday.  CBP said it seized 26,503 shipments containing counterfeit goods in fiscal year 2020 that “would…

Lebron James violated the NBA’s health and safety protocols, but “shockingly” will not face suspension for the transgression. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, before their play-in game against the Golden State Warriors, James was in attendance for a promotional event for Lobos 1707 a brand of tequila with which he is associated. “It’s a violation of the agreed upon protocols, and, as we have in other comparable instances around the league, it has been addressed with the team,” A league spokesman relayed to ESPN on Friday. The “Home” is the latest colourway of the KD 14 to come to light. It sports a white layered upper with a translucent midfoot strap.
