Albany State begins three-game tilt with Golden Tigers today

This weekend the Albany State baseball team ,12-7 (11-3 in the SIAC), will commence a three-game series on Montgomery, Alabama against the Golden Tigers of Tuskegee University, 10-8 (8-3 in the SIAC).

This will be the first time the two teams have played in nearly six years, April 27, 2016 to be exact. Tuskegee was victorious, winning 7-5.

Malik Bell is leading the Golden Rams with a .455 batting average. Nicholas Hernandez has slammed a team-leading 5 homeruns and also paces the club with 25 hits.  Lavoisier Fisher has knocked in a team-high 22 RBI.
 
First pitch for today’s game is at 1pm.
