The Albany State tennis team moved to 2-0 after wins over Central Alabama Community College and Huntington College in their season’s first competition. Game 1 saw ASU defeat CACC 7-2. In singles matches, Asia Raulerson, Bianca Leao, Carla Sorroche, Allyah Williams and Sumana Panauganti were all victorious, while tandems Bianca Leao & Allyah Williams and Sumana Panauganti & Carla Sorroche got wins in doubles. A 19-year-old Santa Clara teenager is staring down a host of charges following his arrest for his role in a smash-and-grab at a high-end sneaker store back in November. Gregory Jefferson was arrested at his Pittsburg home back on January 13.
