This offering of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s sophomore signature shoe is inspired by the four-mile journey a young Giannis would make to an Athens gym for practice. After years of missteps, Under Armour may have gotten at least one thing right. Somehow the brand managed to sign Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson back in 2016 to birth a sportswear line called Project Rock. The brand and Rock was set to release a new collaborative sneaker but postponed the launch in lieu of the Jacob Blake shooting in Wisconsin. Los Angeles Clipper star forward Kawhi Leonard was seen wearing a not yet seen colorway of the New Balance 997. It sports a combination upper of leather mesh and suede. Along with bright accents and a lightning bolt on the tongue that is in line with that seen on the previous 997S collaborations, the “No Days Off” and the “No Bad Days”. The NBA announced the postponement of em Wednesday’s playoff games in lieu of the shooting of Jacob Blake. A release from the Association: NEW YORK — The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association today announced that in light of the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to not take the floor today for Game 5 against the Orlando Magic, today’s three games – Bucks vs. Magic, Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers – have been postponed.  Game 5 of each series will be rescheduled.
