Stray Rats and New Balance have teamed up to birth this 827. It sports a combination upper of brown mesh overlaid by suede of the same hue. The purple New Balance branding on the lateral side is bordered in red while green piping at key points throughout the upper with “Stray Rats” branding wrapping the heels. On a Wednesday conference call, Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks announced that the four Nets players, that included Kevin Durant, that tested positive for the coronavirus are symptom-free, according to The Athletic’s Alex Schiffer. News of Durant and the other three players testing positive was announced March 17.

The “DMP” was originally set to release in January, until it had to be rescheduled to late March. Then the date was pushed back until April 11 and now those that have been awaiting the return of this sneaker will have to wait a little longer.
