South Carolina State Men’s hoops to take on Claflin in exhibition action

Courtesy of South Carolina State Athletics The South Carlina State men’s basketball team will tipoff off the 2024-25 campaign in exhibition play Tuesday (Oct.29) versus neighboring Claflin in the “Battle of the Burg” inside Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. Tipoff is 7 p.m. Coach Erik Martin in his 3rd season brings back nine (9) veterans to a very experienced team in the likes of Preseason All-MEAC performers graduate guard Omar Croskey and point guard Mitchell Taylor.
