From the SIAC:  The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its men’s and women’s basketball Players of the Week. For women, Kayla Simmons (Lane) was named Player of the Week, while Corriana Evans (Clark Atlanta) earned Newcomer of the Week. For men, Tajh Green (Benedict) was named Player of the Week, while Shamon Mosley (Kentucky State) earned Newcomer of the Week, released by the league office on Tuesday. From the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference: Redshirt sophomore guard Jesse Zarzuela of Coppin State has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, it was announced on Tuesday. Zarzuela’s teammate, redshirt junior forward Tyree Corbett, is the MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, while freshman guard T.J.
