From the CIAA The 2022 National Football League (NFL) Scouting Combine is currently taking place (March 1-7) in Indinapolis, IN. The annual event features hundreds of the top NFL prospects from the collegiate ranks conducting workouts and interviews with all 32 teams. Courtesy of the CIAA: The 2022 NCAA Division II Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship brackets were announced today with one men’s team and one women’s team from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) among the 64 teams in each field. Lincoln University will represent the conference in the women’s bracket while Fayetteville State will be the lone representative from the CIAA on the men’s side. Tennessee State softball gets comeback win over Georgia State, 5-4

The Tennessee State University softball team bounced back from their their defeat Saturday to Coastal Carolina to get a 5-4 victory over Georgia State Sunday afternoon. The bats for both team were fairly silent until the fourth inning when a pinch-hit single from Kayil Mothershed played the first run of the day to put the Tigers up 1-0.
