Albany State women’s hoops look to keep winning streak alive

The Albany State women’s basketball team will look to keep their winning ways going when they play host to Columbus State Saturday. After dropping their season opener 63-52 to Elizabeth City State, the Rams have won two straight, defeating Johnson C, Smith 74-71 and a surprising 68-60 win over Tuskegee. Senior Kashay Hankerson leads the team in scoring with 15.0 ppg. Juanisha Black is the squad’s other double figure scorer, putting up 13.3 points per game.
