This Anta KAI 1 is coming stateside

This upcoming colorway of the Anta KAI 1 sports a largely light turquoise TPU and mesh upper with yellow-green showing up in various locations in a complimentary role.  Kyrie logos appear on the tongue and insoles, while his number 11 appear on the toe, at the bottom of the lacing system.  Additional Kyrie iconography can be seen on the on the midfoot strap, rear heel, and forefoot as well as the hangtag. Kyrie Irving debuts Anta signature sneaker

Last night against the Brooklyn Nets, Kyrie Irving debuted his initial signature with Chinese brand Anta, the Kai 1. Dubbed the “Artist on Court” for the artistry Irving displays on thehardwood, this lower collared silhouette sports a purple and multi-colored aesthetic, with the purple overlaying the colored sections. In December, Nike made a wrong-headed decision to part ways with Kyrie Irving to end their partnership. Since that point, the future outlook for Irving’s footwear future has remained cloudly, with speculation abound linking Irving to several brands. in June the speculation was renewed when images of Irving surfaced wearing a pair of then-unknown Anta sneakers.
