The Nike Basketball Flip The Switch collection highlights the energy of the NBA playoffs. The collection is comprised of the LeBron XIV, KD9, Kyrie 3, and the PG1 and although common textural elements are shared amongst the four shoes, each one carries unique traits linked to each athletes. No All-Star Shoes This Year from Nike Basketball

Those of you who are fans of All-Star kicks will be a little disappointed. That is because there will be no All-Star collection from Nike Basketball this year. LeBron James, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving will be rocking their respective kicks from Nike’s recently releases Black History Month collection. Jordan Brand, however, will proceed forth with their All-Star collection.

In our latest edition lowlighting the foolish things people take to get sneakers, we bring you the case of Javaris Platts. The 19-year old Jacksonville, Florida teen was accused of robbing a Facebook sneaker seller at gunpoint of a pair of Air Jordans. According to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, and reported by WJXT-TV, the robbery victim posted an ad on a Facebook page where sneakers are bought and sold. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cleveland Cavaliers are closing in on a deal for current Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Kyle Korver. Lebron breaks out “Hardwood Classics” PE of the Lebron 14

After the long awaited unveiling of his latest signature, the Lebron 14, Lebron James broke out the “Hardwood Classics” PE tonight versus the Bulls of Chicago. The striking colorway features an orange upper with blue accenting on the swoosh strap, laces and collar. The midsole sports an orange to blue and back to orange gradation and a translucent outsole rounds out the look of this shoe. There is no word on a retail release but keep it locked in here for any release news on this shoe.

After the long awaited unveiling of the Lebron 14 on Christmas Day, LeBron James broke out another colorway of his upcoming signature shoe on his birthday. Dubbed the “Black Ice”, this sneaker features an all-black upper with the white outlined Swoosh on the midfoot strap breaks up the monochromatic look.
