Muhammad Ali Dies at 74

Global icon and boxing legend Muhammad Ali died last night at the age of 74. This was confirmed in a statement issued by Bob Gunnell, the family spokesman late Friday evening.  The news came a day after Ali was admitted to an as of yet unnamed Phoenix-area hospital. He was born  Cassius Marcellus Clay on January 17,1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. Cleveland Cavaliers backup lead guard Matthew Dellavedova will soon have his own signature sleds with Chinese sportswear company PEAK. He signed a three year deal with the company.  In a press release from PEAK, Dellavedova had this to say: PEAK Australia approached me nearly two years ago with the idea of introducing a basketball shoe into the Australian market. NBA Finals Game 1: Our Take

Game 1 of the highly anticipated matchup between the Warriors and the Cavaliers is in the books. The Warriors smacked the Cavaliers 104-89.  While the vaunted Golden State backcourt was relatively quiet, going a combined 8-27 for 20 points, 11 from Curry and 9 from Thompson, was their bench that came up big scoring 45 points. Today at Finals practice  Lebron went into the way back machine and broke out a pair of Zoom Generations. Pelicans’ Guard Bryce Dejean-Jones succumbs to gunshot wound

Dallas police announce New Orleans Pelicans guard was fatally shot after kicking in a door to an apartment. In a statement, Sr Cpl DeMarquis Black said officers were called early Saturday morning and found Jones collapsed in an outdoor passageway’ the 23-year old ball player was taken to a hospital, where he died. Cpl. Black also stated a person living at the apartment was asleep when he heard his door kicked open.
