PE Corner: LSU basketball gets exclusive Nike Ja 3

LSU basketball unveiled its team-exclusive version of the Ja 3.  This iteration of the Ja 3 sports a lightweight purple mesh foundational layer over top is yellow textured areas that form a claw scratch-like aesthetic.  A downturned, gold-bordered purple Swoosh is seen on the lateral side, along with a subtly displayed “A.”  A purple, branded tongue completes an upper that sits atop a ZoomX midsole that also features LSU branding, as well as a purple rubber outsole.  At this juncture, unfortunately, there is no indication of a planned retail release. …

“Carbon Fiber” Nike Foamposite One coming October 24

This new colorway is but one of several colorways of the classic silhouette that Nike has planned for retail runs.  As their moniker implies, they sport a Foamposite upper that features a carbon fiber pattern. Duke Basketball unveils Kobe V PE

Duke women’s basketball revealed a team-exclusive iteration of the Kobe V Protro.  This striking colorway sports a Duke Blue upper with a black fused overlay at the forefoot and eye rows. Official images of the “Pine Green” Nike Air Foamposite Pro

Fourteen years after its original 2011 debut, Nike is pulling the “Pine Green” Foamposite Pro out of cold storage. Official images of the well-received colorway show the sneaker in all its glory.  It sports an iridescent pine green Foampisite upper with a large black jewelled Swoosh adorning the lateral side. This upcoming Ja 3 picks up the “Zombie” theme from the Ja 1 and builds on it.  It sports a patterned green upper with textured overlays that transition to a vibrant volt at the midsole and outsole. “Burgundy Crush” Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble coming this fall

This women’s-specific iteration of the Air Max 95 Big Bubble sports a combination of patent leather, breathable mesh, and tumbled leather upper.
