”Sparks” Puma MB.03 coming early April

This upcoming colorway of LaMelo Ball’s third signature shoe is inspired by the Los Angeles Sparks.  It sports a volt upper with purple and orange splashed throughout. LaMelo branding appears on the tongue and rear heel. A yellow, NITROFOAM-equipped midsole and purple rubber outsole completes the aesthetic.  As it currently stands, the “Sparks” Puma MB.03 is scheduled to debut April 5, 2024 at puma.com and select retail venues; they will carry a 125 USD sticker price.  PUMA MB.03 379898-01 $125 5 April 2024

“Digital Camo” Puma MB.01 coming March 24

The “Digital Camo” Puma MB.01 is part of LaMelo’s Rare Reverse line, a collection that comprises previously MB.01 PEs. It sports a desert camo upper with orange present in a complimentary role. The phrase “ 1 of 1” appears on the medial forefoot , alluding to the sneaker’s previous life as a PE. In celebration of the 35th anniversary of Super Mario and the Super Mario Brothers series Puma and Nintendo are teaming up on this edition of the RS-Dreamer. It sports a red knitted upper with red and blue suede overlays. Puma’s Storm Adrenaline is garnering attention for its aesthetic, but not in the way the brand envisioned. Nike unlikely to match Puma’s offer to Kyle Kuzma

Earlier in September is was reportered that Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma was nearing a sneaker deal with Puma. Nike, who Kuzma was with at the time, had 10 days to exercise the match clause in their deal with Kuzma if they wished to keep him on their roster. Kyle Kuzma and Puma closing in on shoe deal

It appears that Kyle Kuzma could be the next young NBA talent to join the Puma roster. According to an initial report from the New York Times’ Marc Stein, Puma is nearing a deal with the Los Angeles Laker. Last season, the 23-year-old forward engaged in a partnership with the sneaker resale platform GOAT, in which he functioned as a brand ambassador and would wear rare kicks on and off the court.
