Read MoreSo tampering is ok now?
Lebron James recent comments regarding his thoughts on potentially playing with New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis stokes the long-simmering fires of rumours of Davis joining the Lakers. It is also a clear case of tampering. As stated in Article 35A of the NBA constitution, “No person may, directly or indirectly, entice, induce, persuade, or attempt to entice, induce or persuade, any Player who is under contract to, or whose exclusive negotiating rights are held by, any other Member of the Association. The short and strange union of Jabari Parker seems to, thankfully be in its death throes. The signing ( 2 years, $40 million) itself was a head scratcher, as he seemed to not really be what the Bulls need and it seemed like the team never had a clear plan on how Parker would be implemented. Of course Jabari did himself no favors with his failure to address his glaring defensive defenciencies, but the Bulls should have done their due diligence. When ESPN’s Malika Andrew reported that Parker would be…
Read MoreJabari Parker is reportedly taken out of Bulls rotation
Already the Chicago Bulls’ 2018-19 season has been a strange journey. Injuries to several key players turned the team into a M.A.S.H. unit which contributed to the team stumbling out of the gate 5-20; it also forced players to take on different roles. This gave Bulls brass the opening to fire coach Fred Hoiberg. His replacement Jim Boylen made such a wonderful impression on the team that they reported him to the NBAPA over his practice schedule. It has not been the homecoming Jabari Parker had hoped for. Thinking he…
