Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry has been ruled out for team’s highly anticipated game against the Spurs which is the return to San Antonio for Kawhi Leonard. Lowry received injections last week as he is attempting to recover from lingering back soreness. Markieff Morris out six weeks with Transient Cervical Neuropraxia

The Washington Wizards released an official update outlining the status of forward Markieff Morris. Morris was diagnosed with transient cervical neuropraxia .According to Sports Med Today it is “a rare but dangerous cervical spine (neck) injury. TQ is usually caused by cervical spinal cord trauma, which can occur after a neck hyperextension or hyperflexion injury with possible axial loading (pressure applied to the top of the head).” Morris will be limited to non-contact basketball activities for the next six weeks. The Washington Wizards’efforts to right the ship this season just took another kick in the nether region. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst have reported that Washington Wizards guard John Wall is plannning to have surgery on his injured left heel. Shams Charania of the Athletic reported that Wall “tried to battle through the pain in his injured heel” to try to help reroute the Wizards’ derailed season.
