Spencer Dinwiddie diagnosed with partially torn ACL

From nba.com and the Nets: Brooklyn Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie has suffered a partially torn ACL in his right knee, the team announced on Monday. Dinwiddie is scheduled for surgery next week. He is expected to make a full recovery before next season, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. He suffered the injury on contact, Charania reports, but there is no other structural damage to the knee. The former second-round pick suffered a strained right knee in the third quarter when he fell awkwardly while driving and passing the ball. He did not return. Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will miss his second consecutive game due to a foot injury. Though Green was a full participant in the team’s practice Wednesday following the opening night keister-kicking the Nets gave them, head coach Steve Kerr said that he would not play in their Christmas Day game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
