Lead by Maik Kostar’s 19 points and 8 rebounds, Estonia defeated Belgium 79-66. Kerr Kriisa was on fire from the land of three, knocking down 5 of his 6 attempts in scoring 15 points, Belgium was lead by Manu Lecomte’s 14 points. Once EuroBasket 2022 tips off, Estonia will play in Group C with Great Britain, Croatia, Italy Greece and Ukraine. Belgium will take part in Group A, competing against Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Spain and Montenegro. The top four teams in each group advance to the elimination round.

Germany snuck by the Netherlands 68-66. The Germans sat David Kramer, Andrea Obst, Daniel Theis and Franz Wagner. The French Federation of Basketball announed on Friday that Frank Ntilikina will not be available for EuroBasket 2022 and the next round of World Cup Qualifiers due to an undisclosed injury as reported by eurohoops.net.
