After a season in Australia with Melbourne United, the NBL champion and MVP finals Jock Landale is on the verge of his European return. The former player of Zalgiris Kaunas and Partizan is finalizing a deal with Anadolu Efes and at this point, Landale is the more than possible replacement of Sertac Sanli who left for Barcelona.

Vasilje Micic is also staying in Istanbul, Anadolu Efes is pretty much keeping intact the team that won the 2021 EuroLeague trophy and aiming for a repeat. Landale is expected to be the only big summer addition.

With Landale being the starting center of the Australian national team and the NBA being his priority, an offer from the best league in the world may be the only thing that can derail the upcoming deal between him and the EuroLeague champions.

Landale finished the season averaging 16.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game.

The interest of Efes for Landale was first reported by Greek journalist Michalis Stefanou.
