Though we are barely 25% of the way through 2026, the eyes of sneaker enthusiasts are already shifting towards 2027.
This Phoenix Suns-inspired iteration of the Air Jordan 5 is one of the reasons the 2027 Jordan Brand release roster is becoming more anticipated with each passing day.
The retail version reportedly draws some of its aesthetics from Shawn Marion’s Jordan 5 PEs from his time in the Valley of the Sun.
With that in mind, the “Suns” Air Jordan 5 is expected to feature a white leather upper with clear netting adorning the sides and the tongue. Perched atop the reflective tongue is an orange Jumpman, with the same branding present at the rear heel as well as on the purple lace locks.
Purple takes care of the inner ad and also teams with orange for the “23” seen at the lateral heel.
Underneath the upper would reside a purple midsole accented with purple speckled orange teeth as well as a translucent and purple rubber outsole.
The “Phoenix Suns” Air Jordan 5 is slated to debut in the spring of 2027 and will carry a 215 USD sticker price.
