SIAC Announces Weekly Baseball Honourees

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Tuesday.

Eason Bing (Clark Atlanta) was named Player of the Week, while Jeremiah Reddell (Albany State) earned Pitcher of the Week honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Eason Bing, Clark Atlanta | Infielder |  6’0  | Sophomore | Decatur, GA


Clark Atlanta’s Eason Bing had 11 hits, seven RBIs, and scored 10 runs over four games last week for CAU as they won four straight. Bing, a sophomore from Decatur, Ga., went 2-for-2 and scored two runs against Morris College, and then in three games against Benedict, Bing went 9-for-14 with seven RBIs, scored eight runs, stole two bases and hit a home run.


PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Jeremiah Reddell, Albany State, ,Pitcher |  5’9  |  Freshman |  Albany, GA


Jeremiah Reddell improved to 6-2 on the season after a dominating performance on the mound against Morehouse. Jeremiah pitched nine innings for a shutout win over the Maroon Tigers. Reddell gave up six hits while striking out eight batters.
