The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.
Grant Akridge (Spring Hill) was named Player of the Week, while Jared Showalter (Savannah State) earned Pitcher of the Week honors.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Jared Showalter, Savannah State,Pitcher | R-Junior | Huntingdon, PA
In a 12-1 win over Miles and 6 innings pitched, Showalter recorded four hits, eight strikeouts, two walks to improve to 7-0 on the season.
