After being outscored 110-35 in their first three games and going winless, the Albany State Golden Rams headed to Lane Field to take on the Lane Dragons needing a win in the worst way. Gayle comes to the Golden Rams after compiling a 125-51 record , two regular season conference championships and four NAIA tournament berths in six seasons as the head coach at Division II St. Thomas University.
