Miles Lady Bears beat Clark Atlanta 78-64 for third straight win

Courtesy of Miles Athletics Miles shot a season-high 53.4 percent from the field as it defeated Clark Atlanta 78-64 in a non-conference affair Thursday night at Knox-Windham Gymnasium. The 78 points tied a season high and the win was the third straight for the Lady Bears (15-8), which swept the season series from the Panthers (6-18). Miles spoils Kentucky State’s Homecoming with last second score

Miles College scored the go ahead touchdown with just three seconds remaining in the game to lift the Golden Bears to a 24-21 win and spoil Kentucky State’s homecoming. Saturday’s game between the Albany State Golden Rams and the Golden Bears of Miles College started at 8:05, a little more than an hour later than its scheduled 7p.m. kickoff time due to lightning and heavy rain.
