This Saturday the Albany State Golden Rams head to Fairfield, AL to lock-horns with the tiles College Golden Bears. After dropping its first two games to SWAC opponents, a 14-13 overtime loss to Alabama State and 41-24 to Southern, Miles took that frustration out on conference foes defeating Morehouse and Central State by a combined margin of 92-16. The SIAC named their players of the week, with players from Fort Valley State, Tyrell Jackson and Tyler Moore, taking the offensive and defensive honours, respectively. Clark Atlanta’s Carlos Saldana was named Special Teams Player of the Week and Miles’ Jalen Parker Newcomer of the Week. A senior from Hickory, N.C., Fuller was the leading scorer for the Golden Bears this season, averaging 11.3 points per game.
