The short and strange union of Jabari Parker seems to, thankfully be in its death throes. The signing ( 2 years, $40 million) itself was a head scratcher, as he seemed to not really be what the Bulls need and it seemed like the team never had a clear plan on how Parker would be implemented. Nick Young signs with Denver Nuggets

Nick Young has agreed to a deal with the Denver Nuggets. The team made the announcement Monday morning.  Young comes to the Nuggets fresh off a championship with the Golden State Warriors last season. Though his minutes, 17.4, were the lowest since his rookie season and his points, 7.3, tied a career low, Young can still be a valuable scorer off the Denver bench. According to espn.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski the Los Angeles Lakers are in talks to try to acquire the services of Phoenix Suns forward Trevor Ariza. It appears that both teams are working on bringing a third club into the deal that would take on Lakers guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope as a component of a potentially bigger trade. Monday morning the Chicago Bulls announced that Fred Hoiberg is no longer their head coach. Cavaliers trade Kyle Korver to Jazz

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski the Cleveland Cavaliers traded veteran sharpshooter to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Alec Burks and two future second-round picks. Korver had been averaging 6.8 points in 15.7 minutes per contest while shooting 46.3 percent from three-point range. He joins a Utah Jazz team that has the second-worst three point percentage in the NBA at 31.9 percent and is in need of his outside shooting. This will be Korver’s second run with the Jazz. It appears the now very strained relationship between J.R. Smith and the Cleveland Cavaliers will mercifully be put out of its misery. Joakim Noah and Grizzlies in ‘Extensive’ Contract Talks

According to the New York Times’ Marc Stein free-agent center Joakim Noah and the Memphis Grizzlies are in “extensive discussions” about signing him to a contract. Noah Has been riddled with injuries over the past few seasons, only appearing in 82 games total ( including just seven in 2017-18) over the last few season. He was waived and stretched by the New York Knicks in October.

Report: Phoenix Suns will buyout Tyson Chandler,expected to sign with Lakers

According to The New York Times’ Marc Stein, the Phoenix Suns will buyout center Tyson Chandler, making him a free agent. Should he be claimed on waivers, Chandler would be owed $13.6 million this year. Left unclaimed, he becomes eligible to sign with any team he chooses.
