Tennessee State to face North Dakota State in home-and-home series

Courtesy of Tennessee State Athletics: NASHVILLE – The Tennessee State football program has announced a home and home series with one of the top programs in the Football Subdivision Series, as the Tigers will take on North Dakota State University in 2024 and 2025.  The Tigers will travel to Fargo, ND., to take on NDSU inside the historic Fargodome on September 7, 2024. Howard University Director of Track & Field David Oliver talks sneakers and his famous unboxing video

David Oliver is a decorated athlete, winning a bronze medal in the 110 Hurdles at the medals at the Beijing Olympics in 20028. He also took gold in the 60 Meter Hurdles at the USA Indoor Championships in the same year. Oliver took bronze the same event at the 2010 World Championships and claimed the gold in the 110 hurdles at the 2013 World Championships. Basketball great Maya Moore officially announces retirement

Via the Associated Press Maya Moore has officially decided to retire from playing basketball. The Minnesota Lynx great stepped away from the WNBA in 2019 to help her now-husband Jonathan Irons win his release from jail by getting his 50-year sentence overturned in 2020. After gaining his release, Irons married Moore soon after and the couple had their first child, Jonathan Jr., in July. In matchups last week, the guard averaged 25.0 points, 4.0 steals, 1.5 assists and shot an uber-efficient 58.6% from the floor. Last week the Kansas transfer scored 30 points on 11/16 FG in the Tigers’ loss at SIUE and followed that up for with 20 points, 5 steals, and 2 assists in the come-from-behind victory over Lindenwood.
