EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon football has provided an update on quarterback Dante Moore following the scary injury he suffered during Saturday night’s 41–27 victory over USC. USC Suspends Desman Stephens II After Hit on Dante Moore

USC linebacker Desman Stephens II has been suspended for one game following his ejection during Saturday’s 41-27 loss to Oregon. Stephens was ejected for targeting after delivering a late hit to Ducks quarterback Dante Moore during the second quarter. Moore was attempting to slide when Stephens made contact with his head. Moore remained on the field while receiving medical attention before eventually being taken away on a stretcher and transported by ambulance. Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair was reportedly given an ultimatum during the team’s Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals: Remove the name “Wafaa Akila” from his eye black—or he would not be allowed to continue playing. Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla has cut ties with Life Surge and will no longer participate in the organization’s scheduled October event, according to the Boston Globe.  Mazzulla was scheduled to appear at Life Surge’s Oct. 17 event in Hartford, Connecticut, but told the Globe that he informed the organization he would no longer attend.
