Kevin Durant debuts latest shoe against Clippers

Recently we reported on initial images surfacing of the KD 16 and now the man himself, Kevin Durant, has unofficially introduced his latest shoe to the world. In the first two games of the Suns’ opening round playoff series against the Clippers, Durant broke out a mostly black version of his new kicks. Durant had a near triple-double, scoring 27 points, dishing out 11 assists and grabbing 9 rebounds but the Suns came up short, 115-110 in Game 1. An initial look at the Nike KD 16

The signature line of Kevin Durant marches forward as images have emerged of sixteenth iteration of the series. It features a lower collared silhouette with piping and a later wing that is reminiscent of the Air Penny II. KD and Nike branding can be seen on the tongue and lateral ankle, respectively, completing an upper that sits atop a midsole that will likely house Zoom Air cushioning or we could see it implemented in a strobel fashion, as well as a rubber outsole. An initial look at the”Michigan” Nike Air Max 97

This upcoming Air Max 97 has an Ann Arbor feel to it. It sports a white mesh foundational layer, overlaid with a strip of maize and a navy blue rand. Yellow Swooshes adorn the sides and also have a home on the tongue, with “air max” appearing on the maize-stitched rear pull tab.
