PE Corner : LeBron James wears “Oregon” LeBron XXII in return

After his much-publicized, bizarre, and sudden absence from the team, LeBron James returned to the Lakers Sunday night against the Memphis Grizzlies and he did so in the “Oregon” iteration of his LeBron XXII sneaker.  They sport a vibrant green upper with yellow showing up via an underlay that wraps the lower third of the upper and also forms a Swoosh on the lateral side. PE Corner: LeBron James wears “Chosen” LeBron XXII against Raptors

In a game earlier last month against the Toronto Raptors, LeBron James broke out a previously unseen colorway of his LeBron XXII.  The new color features a primarily white upper that shares the space with a deep green that forms the shape of Swoosh on the lateral side. This Nike LeBron TR 1 is one of the latest additions to Florida A&M’s LeBron footwear fleet, which includes some bangers, spread across several LeBron models , including the LeBron VII, XIX, XX, XXI and a host of others. LeBron James took this colorway of his new LeBron XXII to the hardwood in a recent game against the Detroit Pistons. This eye-catching iteration of the XXII sports a vibrant royal blue upper peppered with volt embroidered patterns. Volt also shows up on the piping that forms the lateral Swoosh and separates the orange from the blue portion of the upper. Outside of their namesake, Las Vegas Aces star Aja Wilson is one of the most prominent wearers of the LeBron XXI. Throughout the WNBA season, the unanimous MVP has been seen in multiple and often very well-executed colorways of the LeBron XXI  The latest iteration for the Paris Olympic gold medalist sports a golden upper deasigned to resemble gold foil. This AE 1 was made for now Olympic gold medalist, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards. They sport a black textile upper paired with lustrous gold, with the same/ golden detailing appearing on the Adidas Three Stripes branding on the rear heel as well as the AE logo on the tongue.  Underneath resides a Boost-equipped Lightstrike midsole and a golden rubber outsole  As with the majority of the subjects of PE Corner, there are no indications, currently, of a retail release for these.  images via lovedrose16

In the Indiana Fever’s highly anticipated game with the Chicago Sky, Caitlin Clark broke out a new Kobe VI Protro PE. In a performance that would have brought a smile to their namesake, dropped a career-high 31 points and dropped 12 dimes in the Fever’s 100-81 thumping of Chicago Sky Friday night.  Clark’s Kobe VI Protro sports light blue scales situated atop a similarly colored and white upper.
