Birsen, who spent the last two seasons with Pinar Karsiyaka, had began his basketball journey with Fener’s youth teams. In 2020-21, Birsen averaged 6.1 points and 5.5 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League while Pinar Karsiyaka made the championship game in the Nizhny Final Eight.
