Jackson State’s Robert McDaniel named to Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List

He also recorded a pair of tackles for loss. McDaniel accounted for six turnovers last season causing three fumbles and was among the league leaders with three interceptions. Alabama A&M’s Saldy Amparo-Smith garners SWAC Volleyball Preseason Honors

She played 30 matches, in which she started in 27 of them. Amparo-Smith led the team with 244 kills, including a season-high 34 kills against Florida A&M.     Defensively, she tallied 160 digs and 33 total blocks.…

The Stats Performed FCS Preseason Top 25 Poll was released and three HBCUs- Florida A&M, North Carolina Central, and Alabama State all received votes.  Last season the Rattlers of Florida A&M 12-1 (8-0) as the SWAC and the Celebration Bowl champions. They ended the 2023 campaign ranked 11th in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 poll. FAMU received 65 votes in the preseason poll, placing the Rattlers 30th.
