A 52-year-old Portland, Oregon man is accused of stealing over $5,000 of sneakers from the Northeast Portland Nike Outlet. Kevin Millage was arrested as a suspects in thefts from the store after detectives reviewed footage from the store’s video surveillance system. According to court documents, Millage admitted to detectives that he is a drug addict and that he pilfered the shoes in order to sell them to obtain drugs. The 28 year old was charged with felony 4th degree larceny and misdemeanor petit larceny after he pilfered 34 pairs of sneakers from a local JC Penney over a two-day period. Mr. Pastorius was arraigned in New Hartford Town Court and then sent to the Oneida County Jail; he will appear in court at a later date.
