The Golden Lions (4-3, 2-2 SWAC) rushed for 211 yards and scored three touchdowns on the ground to overcome a Florida A&M offense that generated 394 total yards. Tennessee State “stepping away” from Southern Heritage Classic

Since the inception of the Southern Heritage Classic in 1990, Tennessee State has been a staple, participating in every playing of the contest.  However, that will change in 2025. Coach Manley joins the Golden Lions staff after spending the last two seasons as the Offensive Coordinator at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.  During his time at Lincoln, Coach Manley engineered an offense that set 11 school records in 2023.
