Willie Simmons has been tapped as the man to lead FIU. Willie SImmons resigns from FAMU to take position at Duke

Florida A&M head coach Willie Simmons resigned today to accept a position as running backs coach on Manny Diaz’s staff at Duke. Willie Simmons named AFCA FCS Region 3 Coach of the Year

Deion Sanders agrees that FAMU should have been in the FCS playoffs

Despite going 9-2, including winning nine consecutive games after dropping their first two contest, the selection committee saw fit to snub FAMU from the postseason.
