EuroHoops News: Israel defeats Georgia 104-96 in friendly play

For Israel, once again it was no Deni Avdija, no problem, as the Israeli team defeating Georgia,104-96, a trio of 18 point efforts from Yam Madar, Tomer Ginat and Roman Sorkin. The win was the second consecutive victory for Israel, having just defeated the SEC’s Auburn Tiger 95-86 in Tel Aviv. The French Federation of Basketball announed on Friday that Frank Ntilikina will not be available for EuroBasket 2022 and the next round of World Cup Qualifiers due to an undisclosed injury as reported by eurohoops.net. The 24-year-old Dallas Mavericks point guard is fourth player from the French national team to go down with an injury, joining Moustapha Fall, Andrew Albicy, and Victor Wembyama. Courtesy of Grambling State Athletic Communications: The Grambling State University women’s soccer program received 136 total points and was predicted to win the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), the conference announced on Friday.  Grambling State, which fell in the conference tournament championship game a year ago, grabbed one first-place vote and 136 points to earn the top spot.
