SWAC Announces 2023 Football All-Conference Teams

Courtesy of the Southwestern Athletic Conference BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced its 2023 Football Postseason All-SWAC selections on Monday morning. The all-conference teams were voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors. Florida A&M led the league with 13 selections, followed by Alabama State (8), Alcorn State (6), Jackson State (5), Southern (5), Alabama A&M (4), Grambling State (3), Texas Southern (2), Prairie View A&M (2), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2), and Bethune-Cookman (2). The “Black and White” Air Jordan 14 is a new color of the Air Jordan 14 that is slated to be part of the brand’s holiday release roster. It sports a black combination suede and nubuck upper with white showing up on the Jumpman that appears on the rear heel and toe, as well as the “23” that also is present on the aforementioned rear heel. This December the “Anthracite” Nike Air Foamposite One is set to make its third retail run, having originally released in 2007 and made a previous return three years ago in 2020. It monochromatic aesthetic features a black Foamposite upper with black nubuck running the eye rows. Black mesh shows up at the collar, with an open-celled variety present at the inner bootie. The “Military Blue” Air Jordan IV is making its first retail run in 12 years when it hits shelves next May. This iteration differs itself from the previous version in that it will feature “Nike Air” branding, an attribute that has not been seen on this shoe since the 1989 original.
