It seems that Kendrick Perkins was proven right as James didn’t take a pay cut, agreeing to a 2-year deal worth $104 million. The deal allows James to continue to seize the Lakers on the base of their snarglies, as it includes both a player option and a no-trade clause.  James, 39, opted out of the last year of his previous deal that would have paid him $51,415,938. The WNBA All-Star game is set to take place in Phoenix and front of the mid-season showcase, Jordan Brand unveiled the jerseys for the 2024 game.  This year’s iteration will reprise a theme last seen ahead of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 in which the All-Stars on the U.S. Women’s National Team will face off against the remaining WNBA All-Stars. Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Fake sneakers and clothes seized at South Africa/Mozambique border

Earlier this week, South African police arrested a man at the Lebombo port, as he was crossing from Mozambique into South Africa. According to Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation spokesperson, Captain Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi, the vehicle, a white Volkswagen minibus, was stopped and searched. “During the search, counterfeit goods – sneakers, clothes and cosmetics with an estimated street value of R800,000 transported from Mozambique into the Republic of South Africa without valid permit, were seized,” she said.
