Since the inception of the partnership between Florida A&M, Nike and LeBron James there has not been a single klunker, in terms of team-specific footwear. This LeBron NXXT Gen is the latest example nigh-level visual sneaker excellence. Chicago State stuns no.25 Northwestern 75-73

In what is arguably the biggest win in program history, the Cougars of Chicago State defeated no. 25-ranked Northwestern 75-73, who themselves are coming off a 92-88 victory over then no.1 ranked Purdue.  After an opening three and a half minutes in which the teams exchanged the lead and featured three times, a three-pointer from Boo Brie put the Wildcats up 10-7 with 15:51 remaining in the first half. An initial look at the “Bicoastal” Nike Kobe IV Protro

The “Bicoastal” Nike Kobe IV is one of a plethora of colours of the silhouette that Nike will supply to the death profiteers, err, release in 2024. An initial image of this upcoming iteration of the IV Protro has come to light. What we see is a Kobe IV that appears to sport a green nubuck upper with black present at the side Swoosh, inner, as well as laces. Fort Valley wins rainy inaugural Florida Beach Bowl 23-13 over Johnson C. Smith

Fort Valley City State was able to take an early lead and then largely control the Johnson C. Smith offense in a 23-13 win in the inaugural Florida Beach Bowl.  The Fort Valley offense got right to work, marching 75 yards in 12 plays on the game’s opening drive that saw two 4th down conversions and ended on Brandon Marshall’s 2-yard plunge that put the Wildcats up 7-0.  A safety on a Johnson C. Last night in their game against the Dallas Mavericks Tuesday night, LeBron James broke out the “Duke” version of his LeBron XXI signature shoe. They sport a royal upper with Duke branding present on the tongue. Swooshes can be seen on the sides, with white showing up on the heels.
