Livingstone College basketball player Eric Henderson killed in auto accident

Tragedy has unfortunately touched Livingston College. Monday, Eric Henderson a member of the Livingstone basketball team was killed in a car accident. According to WRAL.com, Henderson was killed in a two-car collision that involved a an off-duty Cumberland County sheriff’s deputy.was travelling west on Highway 13 in Cumberland County , heading back to school, when his car crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup truck driven by an off-duty sheriff’s deputy. Ed Reed to become Bethune-Cookman’s next head coach

Bethune-Cookman has reached an agreement in principle to make NFL Hall of Fame player Ed Reed the University’s 16th head football coach. The University made the announcement Tuesday evening. Southern University sophomore tight end Ethan Howard announced he was entering the transfer portal. The Cecilia High School ( Breaux Bridge, LA) product informed the world of his decision Monday in post to his Twitter account. Last season Howard was Southern’s second-leading leading receiver, hailing in 29 passes for 351 yards and four touchdowns.
