According to sneakerfiles, the Lebron x Deion Sanders Nike LeBron XXI will reportedly be released in 2025. An image of a new colorway for the next signature shoe for Ja Morant, the Ja 2.  The new color sports a magenta leather upper underlaid with a mesh of the same hue. The ribbed side panel is home to a teal Swoosh; reportedly, the Swooshes on the left and right shoe will featured a different hue. PE Corner: Tyrese Haliburton rocks “TEAM USA” Kobe X Low

These Kobe X Lows were spotted on the feet of US Olympic Basketball team member and Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburrton. They sport a team USA-inspired graphic that completely canvasses the entirety of its upper. Silver Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides, while a white Kobe signature is perched atop the navy tongue.  Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a white midsole and a translucent gun rubber outsole.  At this time, there is no indication of a planned retail release and that is unfortunate.  images via basketpackfr

Tennessee State lands seven on Big South-OVC Offensive Players to Watch list

The Big South-OVC Football Alliance named its offensive players to watch this season, and amongst that prestigious list were seven Tennessee State players. Draylen Ellis | Quarterback | Grad The 2022 Preseason All-OVC selection appeared in 11 games, making 6 starts. He threw for 1,075 yards and 5 touchdowns, completing 53% ( 103-196) of his passes, throwing for a season-high 236 yards against Lindenwood. Check out the “Triple Black” Adidas AE 2

Although I’m not sure about the performance capabilities as compared to its predecessor, however from an aesthetic standpoint, the AE2 is a step back.  It sports a black TPU upper with only the red AE logo on the tongue offering the only bit of visual variety from the otherwise monochromatic appearance. PE Corner: North Carolina Football unveils PE Air Jordan 3 cleats

North Carolina football unveiled a Player Exclusive edition of an Air Jordan 3 cleat.  Borrowing its aesthetic from the “UNC” Air Jordan 3, they sport a white leather upper with elephant print overlays at the toe and wrapping the heel. University blue shows up on the three midfoot eyelets, Jumpman on the tongue, and likely the branding on the rear heel.  Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a university blue moderator plate.  At this time there is no indication of an impending retail release.  Images via uncfootball

An effort has been launched to save Talledega Gymnastics and here is how you can help

This weekend, unfortunate news broke that Talladega College would have to discontinue its gymnastics program after just one season due to university financial health concerns. We were told by sources that the team received no prior notice, only finding out the day the decision was announced.  The Tornadoes’ gymnastics was not a mere can upon which to be beaten by every opponent they faced. Coached by first year coach Aja Sims-Fletcher, Talladega was competitive, recording a 6-13 record and even becoming the first HBCU to win an NCAA Team competition…
