Unfortunately for the Bison, any thoughts of an upset were shut down in the second half as they were outscored 27-0 by the Scarlet Knights, allowing them to cruise to a comfortable 44-7 season-opening win. TC Taylor names starter for Jackson State’s Week 1 matchup

Earlier Monday on the SWAC Media Call, Jackson State head coach TC Taylor said Jacobian Morgan would be the Tigers’ starting quarterback for their Week 1 opener against Louisiana-Monroe.  Last season the Syracuse transfer appeared in six games for the Tigers, completing 83 of 123 passes for 842 yards, 10 touchdowns, and an interception.
