A pair of Golden Rams prepare to compete at D-II Track&Field Championships

Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown , Albany State Athletics Two members of the Golden Rams Track & Field team are ready to compete at the 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The championships will be held May 25th-27th inside the CSU Pueblo ThunderBowl in Pueblo, Colorado with Colorado State University, Pueblo serving as host. A total of 754 participants, 377 men and 377 women, will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching a provisional standard established for each event. Mumford Stadium for the first time in 15 years and Southern University capitalized on the opportunity to host a meet.
