Cadashia Collins was named the SWAC Freshman of the Year and landed on the first team, while pitcher Dacia Richardnabbed second-team honors. Collins, a freshman shortstop from Chattanooga, Tenn., had a breakout season and was one of the key contributors for Grambling State’s offense as a true freshman. In her two seasons at FAMU, Dylan Horton has scored 727 points but her next collegiate basket will not be for the Rattlers. The Albany State University softball team finished the season with a 5-14 overall record and 16-6 within the SIAC.
